About Tobi

Tobi Ash has had a long history of community involvement. She is the founder of Miami’s Community Kosher Food Bank, the Helping Hands Ko-op, the President of a free loan fund, Aryeh Leib Gemach, a member of Step Up for Students, Florida Impact, Chair of South Florida Advisory Committee for Ohel Children’s Home and Family Services, former chair of the Vocational and Rehabilitation committee of Jewish Community Services, former Chair of the Volunteer Committee of the Greater Miami Jewish Federation, Israel Committee, served the nurse position of Health Care Committee of the City of Miami Beach for 3 years, and is the creator and chair of the Pine Tree Park Community Garden. She speaks regularly for many organizations on a variety of topics: health (physical and emotional), charity/philanthropy, and writing and storytelling.
